Does Remote Energy Healing Really Work?
The short answer
Yes, based on everything I have observed for more than nine years. Energy healing does not rely on physical touch. What acts is the connection with the person and the perception of their energetic imbalances, and none of that is limited by space. Having practiced in a clinic in Seoul, in people's homes and remotely, I see the same sensations and the same results in all three settings. Scientific research on these practices remains limited, and I do not claim otherwise. This article describes what a practitioner observes in the field, not what a study proves.
Why the question comes up
The doubt is legitimate. In person, there is a room, a presence, sometimes hands placed on the body. At a distance, all that remains is a voice on the phone. Many people conclude that physical touch must play a role, and that without it, nothing can happen.
That intuition deserves a closer look, because it rests on a false idea of what energy healing actually is.
What energy healing actually relies on
Physical touch is not the mechanism of the healing. What truly acts is the connection established with the person, the practitioner's intention, and their ability to perceive where energy stagnates, runs low or moves in disorder.
To describe things as I live them in session, I close my eyes and I see the person's energy. Whether they are in the room or ten thousand kilometers away changes nothing about that perception. Even with very little information to start with, a clear profile of their issue takes shape.
Distance sometimes even makes the work more accurate. No appearance, no body language, no context to influence what I perceive. Only the energy remains, and energy does not lie.
If you are looking for a reference point, the closest is magnetism, a healing tradition long established in France. A magnetizer working remotely does something comparable to what I do. It is not Reiki, however, which is a codified method with its rituals and degrees, very far from my way of working.
What comparing the three formats taught me
Few practitioners have been able to compare directly. I practiced for seven months in a clinic in Seoul, alongside Dr. Kwon, giving daily in-person sessions. Then in people's homes. Then exclusively at a distance, with clients from at least fifteen nationalities. After hundreds of sessions, I see no difference. Not in what I perceive, not in what clients feel, not in the results.
The test that struck me most dates back to my years of silent sessions. At the time, I did not speak during the healing. I held a conversation at the start, worked in silence, then shared my conclusions at the end, based only on what I had perceived. Those conclusions were often strikingly accurate. And when what I sensed matched nothing the person knew of, we almost always ended up tracing it back to an issue they had themselves forgotten. Repeated dozens of times, that experience leaves little room for doubt.
What clients report
The most common reason people reach out is a diffuse sense of unease, anxiety, stress, a fatigue that will not pass. That is no coincidence. According to the World Health Organization, more than 300 million people worldwide live with an anxiety disorder.
During the session, clients often describe weights disappearing, a tight chest loosening, a light settling in. Some literally speak of the feeling of waking up from a nightmare. In the feedback that follows, intrusive negative thoughts take up noticeably less space.
For physical pain, the work sometimes focuses somewhere other than where it hurts. One client came for knee pain. Most of the work happened around his back, and it was after that work that the knee eased. The body works as a whole, rarely as a sum of isolated zones.
The limits, honestly
Two things need to be said clearly.
First, the science. Serious studies on remote energy healing are rare, and the ones that exist do not allow any conclusion. So I do not lean on them but on nine years of direct observation, and I let everyone judge what that is worth.
Second, not everything resolves in a single session. Recurring troubles are holistic by nature. When a toxic habit or a thought pattern has been anchored for decades, it takes work to untangle it, and the person's behavior often needs to evolve too. The healing can bring relief, but how long the result lasts also depends on them.
Chinese medicine offers a remarkable reading grid for these correspondences between body areas and imbalances, and I will dedicate a full article to it.
In practice
A session takes place by phone and lasts a full hour. You settle somewhere quiet, and we stay on the line from start to finish. I work energetically throughout the hour, and our dialogue lets me guide the healing along what I perceive.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to prepare in any particular way?
No. You simply need a quiet place where you will not be disturbed, lying down or comfortably seated. The rest is my work.
How many sessions are needed?
It varies from one situation to another. Some people feel better from the very first session. For long-standing issues, working over several sessions allows the work to go deeper.
Do I need to believe in it for it to work?
No. I have seen hard skeptics be amazed by the results. A simply open attitude is enough.
How much does a session cost?
A session costs €70 for a full hour, by phone, wherever you are in the world. Sessions available in English and French.
